Colourful pop art-style Andy Warhol Campbell's Soup Cans head to UK supermarkets

War1

We looked very enviously at the US when these were launched there last year, not to mention Australia a few month back. But just over a year on from the US introduction, the colourful pop art-style Andy Warhol Campbell's Soup Cans are now heading to UK supermarkets.

They should be on the shelves from tomorrow (9 September) with supermarkets chains Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose all expected to receive stock. There are four colour options available (just like the US series), all of which are inspired by the Warhol Campbell's Soup artwork from 1962 - the soup Andy Warhol was said to eat for his lunch for 20 years on the trot. The Warhol signature and Foundation details are also on the can.

Each can will be priced at a bargain 95 pence (making them arguably the cheapest Warhols on the market) - and we suspect these will fly off the shelves. So don't hang around if you want to deck out your kitchen in a set.
