Swifty's Pop Shop exhibition

Swifty is another of our favourites here at Switched On Art, so we were pleased to hear his Pop Shop exhibition at the Sauce Gallery in Birmingham has been extended until 28 February due to popular demand.

The exhibition features a mini exhibition of his personal alphabet The A-Z of Swifty, from Action Man to Zebedee, each a representation of his personal memories.

It also features The Pop Shop itself which is an installation of Swifty's Newsagent, a life sized shop inspired by Peter Blake's Toy Shop work and memories of a local village newsagent in Lancashire.

The exhibition is a chance to buy limited edition prints and artifacts, but if you can make it you can always check out what is available on his website.
