The Mansard Gallery at Heal's

To help celebrate its Bicentenary Heal's has re-opened The Mansard Gallery which was originally open from 1917 until the 1970s at its shop on Tottenham Court Road.

The first exhibition the gallery held was curated by Roger Fry and went on to exhibit work by artists including Picasso, Matisse, Terry Frost, Jacob Epstein and Amedeo Modigliani.

For this re-opening they have created a virtual online gallery that will showcase the work of new and established artists. They have work on the site by artists including Natasha Law, Peter Blake and Peter Saville in association with their galleries Paul Stolper and Eleven Fine Art.

The picture above is by Peter Saville and is titled Joy 3. It is an Ink Jet print and sized at  94 x 83 cm and is from an edition of 10. Unfortunately it does not give a price (if you have to ask you can't afford it).

Vernissage print by Etienne Clement

Anything that involves toy figures and play-mobile-esque scenes has got to be good, and Vernissage by Etienne Clement from his 'Wendy's World' series does just this.

His complex photographic works are set on backdrops of photographs of buildings, landscapes or ruins which act as a stage for his collage of toy figures, miniature magazines and false modelled landscapes.

Each picture in the Wendy's World series features Wendy who is an artist, and in Vernissage she is at a private view at an exhibition of works from the Wendy's World Series.

This Lambda c-type print is sized at 30 x 40cm and is from an edition of 25, and costs £375.

Steve Powers Your Everafter print

Pictures On Walls continue to produce great prints, and we really love this new one by Steve Powers entitled Your Everafter.

Steve lives and works in Manhattan, and this new print bears the legend 'Your Everafter is all Im after'. It is from an edition of 300 and is signed and numbered by the artist. It is sized at 57 x 57cm and is a six colour screen print with a glossy black finish. You can own one for only £99.

Modernist London cards by Stefi Orazi

We featured the Modernist Britain winter cards by Stefi Orazi before Christmas, so as the seasons change (even though we still have snow) we are pleased to see she has a new summer set of Modernist London cards available.

This set of six features the iconic modernist buildings: BT Tower, the Barbican, Golden Lane Estate, the Isokon Building, the Royal Festival Hall, and the classic K8 telephone box.

They are A6 sized and come with envelopes for only £12.

The Relentless Party print by Shag

The prolific Shag has yet another work on the market as a limited edition, going by the name of The Relentless Party.

It's the companion piece to Secret Cul-De-Sac, which was produced in limited numbers last year. This 60s-inspired party piece is also a limited edition of 150, as well as being a 22-colour serigraph that's sized at 22 x 54 inches, signed and numbered by the artist.

The price is $400, while stocks last. Which usually isn't long.
