Ben Eine installation at the Lowry Salford

If you are looking for something non Jubilee related to do this weekend how about visiting The Lowry in Salford to see the new typographic installation that Ben Eine has created on the wall of the Promenade Gallery.

We've featured the work of Eine before but it is great to see him coming up North to work on this new commission. This is a large scale commission as it covers an 18ft wall and has been produced with the help of students from the local St Patrick's High School.

It is his largest indoor commission to date features his trademark large scale lettering spelling out a definition of the word 'communicate - to express thoughts or feelings easily and effectively'. It will be on view from now until the 16 September.
